Eddy Current Accessories

CMS offers a series of eddy current accessories like
  • Standard magnetizing units, open type magnetizing units (which avoids cutting of wire during the process manufacturing) & Sectorial magnetizing units (which are adapted to inspect welded tubes especially for weld area inspection).
  • Standard and specific demagnetizing units AC and/or DC
  • Marking systems, rotating gun, 2 axes table, support coils, centering devices etc.

Eddy Current Coils

CMS offers a series of eddy current coils like
Opening encircling coils for easy maintenance, ideal for endless tube and wire, no need to cut the product to change the coil.
Encircling coils for differential, absolute and MDA - square, rectangular, hexagonal and specific encircling coils
I.D. Probes Special probes "PEIGNE" with a very high sensitivity and/or integrating permanent magnet.
Floating Coil Opening coils like floating coil, allows the coil o follow the movement of the curie. This breakthrough in eddy current technology significantly reduces unwanted "noise" resulting from wire vibration or movement, as well as reduces down time.
Hot Inspection Coil with water cooling system for inspection temperatur up to 1200 0C

SATES Analysis Software
  • Automatically calibrate frequency
  • Static or dynamic zoom (replay the signal acquisition continuously or incrementally)
  • Automatic calibration and flaw measurement using phase and amplitude threshold
  • Mixed different parameters (i.e. frequencies) used for the signal acquisition
  • The operator can customize the display and resize windows for desired functions
